The Short Version

Five-piece groove-driven cover band out of Central Oregon. We take songs everybody knows and rearrange them into something unexpected — funk, blues-rock, soul, whatever the song calls for. The sound lands somewhere near Scary Pockets, Vulfpeck, and The Main Squeeze: genre-fluid, groove-first, and built to move a room. We carry our own IEM rig, can run fully self-contained or plug into a house system, and have a reputation for packed rooms, engaged crowds, and repeat bookings.

Funk Around & Find Out started with a simple premise: play music that makes people move, and do it at a level of production and professionalism that makes every venue and festival want to book us again.

Our setlist is multi-generational by design. We pull from decades of popular music and reimagine every song through whatever lens makes it hit hardest — deep-pocket funk one song, gritty blues-rock the next, tight soul after that. The genre bends to serve the song, not the other way around. A 25-year-old and a 60-year-old hear the same tune and both end up dancing. That cross-demographic appeal is what makes us work in venues, festivals, community events, and corporate settings alike.

On the technical side, we carry a 24-channel splitter rig with wireless in-ear monitoring for every musician on stage. We can bring our own PA, our own engineer, and our own lighting and run completely self-contained, or we can split the signal and hand your house crew a clean set of isolated inputs. Either way, the stage stays quiet. Drums and vocals are the only acoustic sound on stage — everything else runs direct-in. We advance thoroughly, show up on time, set up efficiently, and maintain clear communication with your crew from first contact through load-out.
