Funk Around & Find Out is a five-piece out of Central Oregon that takes songs everybody knows and completely reimagines them — sometimes as a deep-pocket funk groove, sometimes as a gritty blues-rock rework, sometimes as something that doesn’t fit neatly into any genre at all. The approach sounds like what you’d hear from Scary Pockets, Vulfpeck, or The Main Squeeze: genre-fluid, groove-first, and built around arrangements that surprise people while keeping them locked in.

The setlist spans generations and genres on purpose. We’ll take a country classic and give it teeth, then turn a modern pop hit into something with a deep pocket and a heavy groove. A 28-year-old and a 58-year-old hear the same song and both end up on the dance floor. That’s not an accident — it’s the whole point.

On the production side, we bring our own IEM rig and can run fully self-contained with our own PA and engineer, or plug into your house system through a 24-channel splitter and let your crew take over front of house. Either way, the stage stays controlled — drums and vocals are the only acoustic sound on stage. Every other instrument runs direct-in to the board. Your engineer gets clean, isolated inputs and full control of the mix.
